The league of Ireland has been given the green light to return on July 31st. Promotion and relegation is scheduled aswell, NLEC has informed clubs of the option it has chosen out of four (option one) option one maintains the current position with two rounds of fixtures, 18 in total, one club will be promoted from the first division to the premier division, also another club relegated down. A play of will be played by the First division champions and the 9th placed premier division side, also another playoff series will be played between 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th placed first division side to decide who plays in the Premier Division next year.
