"Uefa will be asked to clarify if the FAI cup will be scrapped" acording to 'The Sun' the FAI cup will most likely be scrapped, the suggestion was brought up at a meeting  with clubs and the FAI and was debated at the FAI's meeting with NLEC. The FAI also want to know if the Europa League spot for the winners of the FAI cup could be given to fourth place in the league. Also a few top flight clubs have come forward asking if the relegation for the Premier Division could be Frozen. There is only 13 games left as five have already been played and it is also said that the League of Ireland will start back on July 31st.
